The person behind Orbita Space: Felipe Fonseca, statistician (UFOP) and master’s student in Administration (IFMG). Experience with Power BI, DAX, R, Python and KPI governance.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Statistics from the Federal University of Ouro Preto (UFOP) and I am a student in the Professional Master’s Program in Administration at the Federal Institute of Minas Gerais (IFMG). I work with data because I like the moment when a number stops being just a number and starts guiding a decision.
Experience
I was a Data Analyst at Prumo Engenharia, where I built Power BI dashboards and DAX and M models, and set up the company’s KPI governance. Some of the work from that period:
- a working hours monitoring dashboard, with hours worked and overtime alerts;
- legal department KPIs, such as litigation volume and success rate, with data received through an API;
- monitoring of traffic violations by fleet drivers;
- personal protective equipment (PPE) inventory;
- migration of the company’s BI platform;
- analytical reports in Quarto and R, such as an employee retention analysis and an audit of benefit payments;
- KPI curation and governance.
